It's a Duratec V6 2.5L engine and i notice the power steering pump is like under the engine somewhere. I have no lift machine or none of that crap. Does anyone know how hard it is to get that pump changed? Hoses might have to be changed also. I have hardly any mechanical experience. What do yall recommend?Does anyone know how hard is to change the power steering on a 95%26039; Ford Contour?
It is not that difficult if you know what you are doing. If you have natural mechanical ability just go buy a chiltons repair manual for the contour/mystique. If you have no experience and no ability take it somewhere and you are looking at about 500 bucks parts and labor
